I love Christmas shopping :)

We went United Square for dinner earlier today and ended up buying so much stuff! It’s indeed a kids apparel paradise 🙂

Esprit was having this deal – u get additional 15% off when u buy 3 sale items. I have been looking for a smaller work bag in a light colour and this white one fit the bill! After final discount, it cost only $55! Cool leh!

I just hope I don’t dirty it..

And the other 2 sale items consisted of this flowery top for Am (the material is really soft and cottony!) and a checkered top for hubby. I quite like Esprit, just that it’s usually pricey when there’s no sale. Got sale must buy la 🙂

Cotton On kids also got sale!! The centre 3 dresses for Am cost $7 each, while the retro leggings for Al cost $10 each! The necklace … Al chose it herself and asked us if she could buy. Haha growing up girls!

Cotton On kids quality is quite good for its price. Seriously no need very expensive clothes for kids cos they outgrow their clothes so fast right?

Last stop – Mums & Babes. Found these Luvable Friends socks for Am. We had bought some socks from this same brand earlier this year and they fit super well – we love it a lot. So we’ve been wanting to get bigger sized ones and we’ve finally gotten it. Also got light pink leg warmers to match the 2 Cotton On kids dresses we just bought. So Am’s new year clothes are all done! Yay.

We’ve been lugging 2 bags everytime we bring Am out and hubby hates it. And he got this diaper bag haha. Yes he chose the colour (I wanted the grey..) which is a bit too ang gong gong for my liking. But seriously, this bag has so many compartments.. And the bottom of the bag is really wide and stiff (like a speedy lol) so it can contain MANY THINGS.

And the best part is, there was 20% discount! Original price for the diaper bag was 120. After discount become $96 🙂 quite cheap for a proper diaper bag.

So yes we are very happy with our buys – Yay to United Square – we love the fact that it’s not a very crowded mall (even on weekends and PHs) so we can shop very comfortably with 2 kids in tow!

Giving thanks

It has been a busy week.

Yet, I know of some people who are way busier / in a worser state than me. For that, I give thanks.

I worked half day today and went for driving lessons in the afternoon. I always drive from 230pm to 6pm (2 lessons back to back) so it’s super tiring. Then I had to buy dinner back, rush thru my dinner so I can take care of the kids. Being parents is never easy – taking care of kids is such a huge responsibility.

Talking abt kids, hubby took the day off today and brought Al to the library and BookFest. Al, an avid reader, apparently enjoyed herself reading the day away today. Borrowed 6 books and bought another 5 storybooks from BookFest! Hubby spent over $200 at BookFest today on P2 assessments books, English and Chinese storybooks, magazine subscriptions (National Geographic kids and Science adventure) and stationery. A day well SPENT in every aspect lol!

Tomorrow Hui Mee will be on leave and I’ll be super busy – hope many people in my office will be on leave tomorrow too, so I won’t receive many emails 😉

I had Fage Classic Greek Yogurt for breakfast today again – so thick and creamy! But it’s so expensive >.<

And I bought Ayam Brand Coconut milk as a dairy substitute for my coffee too!

Tasted much better than if I put almond milk! I added in a bit of sugar too – looks like I gotta find a Paleo substitute for sugar??

And I received so many presents today from my neighbour colleagues (colleagues sitting around me). The above bracelet is one of them, and there’s 2 moisturizers (Sephora and Crabtree), 1 Picard coin pouch and a set of Guerlain miniature perfume! I will be going Christmas shopping this Sunday – the only time I’m free to do shopping =.= seriously no idea what to buy!

My neighbour colleagues are lovely people. Muacks muacks. Hard to find nice colleagues don’t u think. They are gonna be dearly missed should there be a day I leave the company or I transfer to another department.

The question is, when?

Feeling better after the – rant –

Just took Sambucol and 2 Danzen pills – hope tomorrow I’ll be A-ok!

I managed to quickly do up an omelette and a pork stir fry. So quickly that I didn’t take pics!

So here’s the prawn and onion omelette in the container 🙂

My pork stir fry with lots of onion and prawns. It should be called onion stir fry with pork and prawns! I used 1 Big-ass Australian white onion – no choice but to include onions in both my dishes – I don’t mind anyway!

And I manager to pan fry my salmon slices that were sitting in the freezer since… Dunno when. Yay – add on! I gave a small portion of both the omelette and the stir fry to hubby who came back late from late meetings – so my portions tomorrow are actually lesser. 🙂

I’m feeling fat and sick now – thanks to my upcoming period that’s making feel so super bloated. Argh. And I’ve got a wedding to attend this Sunday at Shangri-La :S

Oh oh oh, before I close, my watch from Reebonz finally arrived this evening!

A simple dress watch that was heavily discounted. Actual price $278 I think. I paid only $69?

And I just bought this huge wristlet too! Nice nice nice?

Ok lemme know. Me gonna crash!
