I finished every single bit of it, including the salmon and veg juice/ gravy. Brussel sprouts are so nice and sweet!

and this was my breakfast!

i think my food is beginning to look nicer eh? More colourful hahaha. So what’s the plan for tomorrow’s Paleo meals?

According to the plan i made, breakfast is diced red bell pepper omelette (what a freaking mouthful) for breakfast, and stir-fry chicken with celery and brussel sprouts for lunch. maybe I’ll add some mushrooms to the chicken for contrast of colours? Heehee.

And, does red bell pepper go well with eggs? I will find out and let u know LOL. i think it will look funny haha. Maybe add some prawns? 😛

My weight has remained constant at 57.6kg for the past 3 days, despite the fact that I’ve been eating more. I wonder if it’s intending to spring a nasty surprise on me tomorrow. Let’s hope today’s body combat will help a bit. I wore my new shoes to body combat today. It really gave me more stability during the lunges (or did the past few days’ regular squats help in that too?) compared to the Reebok shoes I normally wear. But this new pair is more spacious hence it gives the feeling that its quite loose. think i need some time getting used to it. Tomorrow I’ll be doing Elliptical Interval Training – argh i don’t really like it but i think the more i don’t like it, the better results it give!

Just in time for Body Combat

A long search request came in before lunch and I managed to clear it at 1250pm. I was thinking – cannot make it for body combat liao…usually attendance is quite good for body combat so i was quite sad that i couldnt make it today.

When i reached the gym, i went to the registration form and there were only maybe 12 names, much to my glee!! I quickly scribbled my name down and went to change.

So so glad i went, coz today’s class was INTENSE! it was a replacement instructor and he just went on and on and on. Great 45min spent!! And tomorrow is RPM cycling class – looking forward 🙂

Yesterday was a tiring day – and it made me really feel like binging. I had granola with low fat milk for breakfast, 3 tiny bananas for lunch and granola again for dinner at 530pm. At about 9pm, i was already thinking what I should snack on..

and i ended up eating a big piece of seaweed – it’s only 13 calories….

This morning I weighed myself.

Cool – i am back to 59.1 🙂 So glad I did not take out those spicy fish sticks to munch on.. :X

I’ve decided to have wholemeal bread for this week, coz my emmental cheese slices are still in the fridge untouched! Bought a loaf of gardenia wholemeal bread (its made of 50% wholemeal flour though zzz) – cheap and nice with the cheese!

Start of a new CLEAN week!

Being in office is good coz I get to have a more predictable and structured day in terms of diet and exercise.

I just had my Raw Meal Protein Shake. Finally finishing my Vanilla powder, will be opening my second and last tin (unflavoured) very soon yay! After I finish the second tin (God knows when, it’s such a gigantic tin) i will stick to Naturade.

I put in 350ml rice milk (a bit more today coz this will be my only carbo intake for the day) and 1.5 scoops of powder (instead of the recommended 2) coz Raw Meal powder turns gooey very quickly after i mix it 😦 I drank it at 11am and my next protein shake (Naturade) will be after my body combat class at 2 plus pm.

This week onwards, my driving lessons will be only once a week, so it means for this week, I will be in office from Mon to Thur i.e. I am able to go gym 4 days! I will eat my muesli (need carbo for gym workouts!) at about 11am, then protein shake at 3pm. Wonder if it will help me achieve 58kg by friday?

didn’t lose much over the weekend coz it WAS THE WEEKEND. bleah..  BUTTTT being a brand new week today onwards, I shall BUCK UP and FIGHT!! *bloodcurdling pirate scream*

JUST 1.5 more kg TO 58KG!!!!!!

After the heavy lunch and teatime snack yesterday, and a bowl of soup with meatballs for dinner….

I weigh more this morning. 😦 yesterday was 62.9. Today….. 63.5!

So, despite my sore achy body, i went gym during lunch. Just got back actually.. and I worked out for 40 min! New record yay!

I am actually starting to find it not so dreadful. Jus absent-mindedly step on and on and on lor. Time seems to pass by faster too heehee. Weight loss aside, exercise is good for health too. *pats me own back*

Alright back to work le!

Sunshine Multigrain Bread tastes Great!

I managed to get my new breakfast ingredients on Saturday at NTUC!

Using Sunshine’s Multigrain Bread, picnic ham, cheese slice and garlic herb spread, this is really tasty. The garlic herb spread needs to be spread THINLY so it won’t become too greasy.

Bananas as a pre-gym snack at 12 plus. My mum managed to buy these really tiny bananas from Ang Mo Kio Block 628 wet market!

Made this Vitamin C drink once I came into office today. Everyone at home is taking turns to fall sick. I’m determined not to become one of them!

After gym later, I will make myself a protein shake and that will last me until 730 pm. If I get hungry in between, I’ll just drink water.

Gotta say to myself- Hunger is just a feeling. Choose to ignore it.

When I was pregnant…

I just wanted a post that has pics when I was pregnant, just so that I will remember how un-pretty I was. Never will this happen again!!

Still in second trimester – in Hong Kong. I agree that second trimester is the best of all trimesters. The load wasnt that bad yet, and the nauseous first trimester was mostly over. Well nausea stayed with me thru out from start to end, just that it was milder during second trimester. 😡

Last one taken during Christmas celebration with life group. I was huge already. After that I didn’t bother taking any more pics of myself cos I will delete them away after looking at it haha.

The experience of pregnancy is overall a horrid memory for me. A bad 10 months. I told many friends, I wasn’t myself at all and i am quite sure my colleagues can attest to that. I was cranky, paranoid, short tempered, demanding! So thankful that they could tahan me.

But I must say, pregnancy is different for everyone! Many ladies love to be pregnant. They say they have lots of energy, they got no nausea, they can go shopping without getting backache. WTF – sorry I cannot understand it lor haha. Not for me!

And moving forward, I want to be TRANSFORMED. To the me 10 years ago! I am determined to lose the 10 kg!

Not a good pic cos my dress hides everything. Zzz. Anyway my point is, I wanna be slimmer! Skinnier! Smaller! More bony! Less fleshy! Actually after a month of gym, I haven seen much results yet. I shall persevere. Extend to 40min per workout and I should see some results soon 🙂 and what’s my motivation?

Vogel’s Crunchy Honey Clusters & my new weekday menu!

I just had this for breakfast 🙂 after weeks of eating Sweet Home Farm granola, I’m trying this out for the first time.

It contains oats, corn, wheat and rice, together with raisins, banana chips and pumpkin seeds. Oh, and the honey flavour too. It’s about 180 calories per 45g serving, but I think I took more than 45g just now =_= I freaking need a weighing scale for this!

Taste: Honey flavour is quite distinct which is cool, and it goes along pretty ok with my almond milk (Almond Breeze brand, Vanilla flavour). Only downside for me was that the raisins get stuck in my teeth as i chewed on them, which caused some annoyance lol. And the overall feeling is that this seems to be less filling than granola. Granola has this satisfying chewy texture, especially after u let it sit a bit in the milk – it becomes softer and slightly mushy – beautiful! But some people don’t like mushy stuff? 😀

Let’s see how I feel later this morning 🙂

After a brief chat with Elsa last evening, I’ve more or less settled on my up-coming weekday menu after i finish my granola & almond milk!

1) Before I leave home at 745am – homemade coffee with added Anlene powder – 100 calories est.

2) Breakfast at 9am – wholemeal sandwiches.

  • 2 slices Gardenia Wholemeal bread – 145calories
  • Fairprice reduced fat cheese 1 slice – 41 calories
  • 2 fat rings of raw onion – calorie free?
  • Picnic ham 2 slices – 70 calories                                              (TOTAL 256 calories)

3) Before-Gym snack at 12pm – Banana (Del Monte) – 120 calories

4) After-Gym meal at 230pm – Jarrow Formulas Brown Rice Protein Concentrate OR NutriBiotic, Vegan Rice Protein Spectrum Shake (not sure which one to buy yet…)

 – Protein shake with rice milk – rice milk (130 cal for 240ml) + 2 tablespoons protein powder (60 cal-Jarrow) OR 1 scoop (62 cal-NutriBiotic) = 190cal est.

5) Dinner at 730pm – Raw Meal Meal Replacement with rice milk – 1.5 scoops powder (232.5 cal) with 300ml rice milk (162.5 cal) = total 395 calories

That gives me about.. 1066 calories intake per day. PERFECT! But in between 230-6pm, I think I will be hungry 😦 only solution is to drink LOADS OF WATER.
