Paleo Diet Day 1

I’ve officially started ๐Ÿ™‚

I took a quick walk to NTUC to get my breakfast before work.

Del Cabo USDA Organic Cherry Tomatoes! Not my favourite, but it’ll have to do. I had about half a box this morning, the other half shall be tomorrow’s breakfast.

I’m surprised that tomatoes are super low in calories! 6 of them – about 30 calories? And I was about to burst already!

I had the tomatoes at about 930am and at 12pm, I was hungry. haha. Since I wasn’t going for gym today (I had to make a phone call during lunch), I decided to heat up my lunch!

I lugged this device to work today, in the pouring rain. It’s a portable steamer!

and my Paleo lunch was ready in 15minutes ๐Ÿ™‚ piping hot. I had this at abt 1230pm. YUMMY. and I was full after this – chicken breast, prawns, mushrooms and an egg. Seasonings added to my chicken were a few dashes of Thai fish sauce and a generous spill of pepper ๐Ÿ™‚ and it’s super nice. Wanted to add dark soya sauce to my egg but nah, less salt is good!

So I made a shopping list of food to buy this Saturday morning at NTUC – for my next week’s meals. I need healthy snacks in my office!

Tonight I will be preparing prawn omelette and stir-fried mushrooms & carrots for tomorrow’s lunch. Pics will be up tonight!

Down to 58.5kg this morning!

I really wonder how weight loss works.. yesterday, apart from my usualย morning coffee with Anlene powder,ย I had a brekkie wrap (with spinach, egg & cheese) at 12pm, followed by a bowl of soup with some yong tau foo stuff and some grapes at 730pm. Also did body combat during lunch, 80 jumping jacks, 100 pilates crunches and a 1 minute plank before i slept. I thought i ate quite a bit yesterday leh.

I am beginning to think that today’s weight measurement is dependent on LAST WEEK’s activities, instead of YESTERDAY’s activities? Anyone can share?

Anyway, this weight loss will be good buffer for my steamboat date with hubby tomorrow at 330pm ๐Ÿ˜›

yup, the box of Tafu Super Catechin Green Tea that I bought at NTUC yesterday! Each sachet is vacuumed packed – steady la, got good impression liao.

I’m drinking it already – even though I’ve left the sachet inside (i always do), it doesnt taste too tannic – still pretty smooth which is good for me. will prob go for a refill of hot water to max it out hahaha.

Here’s the nutrition information on Sweet Home Farm Granola (all flavours are the same)! It’s actually lesser calories than Raw Meal meal replacement shake wor.

Just in time for Body Combat

Aย long search request came in before lunch and I managed to clear it at 1250pm. I was thinking – cannot make it for body combat liao…usually attendance is quite good for body combat so i was quite sad that i couldnt make it today.

When i reached the gym, i went to the registration form and there were only maybe 12 names, much to my glee!! I quickly scribbled my name down and went to change.

So so glad i went, coz today’s class was INTENSE! it was a replacement instructor and he just went on and on and on. Great 45min spent!! And tomorrow is RPM cycling class – looking forward ๐Ÿ™‚

Yesterday was a tiring day – and it made me really feel like binging. I had granola with low fat milk for breakfast, 3 tiny bananas for lunch and granola again for dinner at 530pm. At about 9pm, i was already thinking what I should snack on..

and i ended up eating a big piece of seaweed – it’s only 13 calories….

This morning I weighed myself.

Cool – i am back to 59.1 ๐Ÿ™‚ So glad I did not take out those spicy fish sticks to munch on.. :X

I’ve decided to have wholemeal bread for this week, coz my emmental cheese slices are still in the fridge untouched! Bought a loaf of gardenia wholemeal bread (its made of 50% wholemeal flour though zzz) – cheap and nice with the cheese!

Start of a new CLEAN week!

Being in office is good coz I get to have a more predictable and structured day in terms of diet and exercise.

I just had my Raw Meal Protein Shake. Finally finishing my Vanilla powder, will be opening my second andย last tin (unflavoured)ย very soon yay! After I finish the second tin (God knows when, it’s such a gigantic tin) i will stick to Naturade.

I put in 350ml rice milk (a bit more today coz this will be my only carbo intake for the day) and 1.5 scoops of powder (instead of the recommended 2) coz Raw Meal powder turns gooey very quickly after i mix it ๐Ÿ˜ฆ I drank it at 11am and my next protein shake (Naturade) will be after my body combat class at 2 plus pm.

This week onwards, my driving lessons will be only once a week, so it means for this week, I will be in office from Mon to Thur i.e. I am able to go gym 4 days!ย I will eat my muesli (need carbo for gym workouts!) at about 11am, then protein shake at 3pm. Wonder if it will help me achieve 58kg by friday?

didn’t lose much over the weekend coz it WAS THE WEEKEND. bleah..ย  BUTTTT being a brand new week today onwards, I shall BUCK UP and FIGHT!! *bloodcurdling pirate scream*

Short Friday for me! :)

Measurement yesterday: 63.5kg.
Measurement today : 63.0kg.

Today is going to be challenging. We are celebrating Al’s birthday tonight at Din Tai Fung and hence I’ll be eating a rather huge dinner. So I am wondering if I should skip lunch so as not to add to the calories??

If I skip, I may over-eat during dinner.. But knowing me, whether I feel hungry (if I have a lunch) or over-hungry (if I skip lunch), I will eat the same amount during dinner.. So I think I will skip lunch, so I don’t add to the daily amount of calories. I hope tomorrow’s measurement will be kind to me.. :S

I will be spending 2 hours at the driving centre today from 2-4pm, doing trial online tests for Final Theory. And next Friday is the actual test – I need all of your prayers badly!!

Can’t wait to start practical lessons >:)

After the heavy lunch and teatime snack yesterday, and a bowl of soup with meatballs for dinner….

I weigh more this morning. ๐Ÿ˜ฆ yesterday was 62.9. Today….. 63.5!

So, despite my sore achy body, i went gym during lunch. Just got back actually.. and I worked out for 40 min! New record yay!

I am actually starting to find it not so dreadful. Jus absent-mindedly step on and on and on lor. Time seems to pass by faster too heehee. Weight loss aside, exercise is good for health too. *pats me own back*

Alright back to work le!

Midweek cheer!

Midweek is here and today a new staff is joining our department. And so… I’m not going gym today cos we are going out lunch with her! And guess where?

Yes you are right – Bibigo. Wahaha. Sorry I sound really high cos I didn’t sleep last night and I’m kinda delirious now.

Wonder what I’ll have.. Maybe no rice dishes.. Will check out the menu later. And of course, u will see food pics on this blog very soon heehee.

Guess what, I have been weighing myself every morning ever since I started having just soup for dinner, and my weight is slowly but surely going downwards. Today’s weight – 62.9kg!! It was 64 five days ago ๐Ÿ™‚ I really should chart a graph man, so I can remember.. Anyone wanna get graph paper for me??

And lastly I leave u a photo disaster which I took hurriedly this morning. Hubby and I both look like shit but it’s so hilarious!! I tried to pull hubby in for a quick pic in the lift and he made a face, while I blinked. Haha!
